I think I’m in a rut- a pink/purple rut. I wasn’t even aware I had that much of the color in my closet, but looking over my outfits for the past few weeks, there’s a common theme. It will be my mission to break out of this rut- perhaps crossing to the green rut instead.
As for this outfit itself, if you work in a more “professional” office, you could sub the jean jacket with the suit jacket (these pants are part of a suit) and it everything else would just fall into place. Hmm, I like that, I just came up with another outfit by writing a blog post. And it was free. Score!

I have no style, but I love yours! Seeing your outfits actually makes me want to go shopping. Thanks for providing a service to those of us who are, um, challenged in this area.
HA! Thanks for the sweet words. Since I can’t run right now, it’s fun to have something else to focus my attention on. I’m hoping to get the clear for cycling and swimming tomorrow. Running will have to wait a while!
Your fashion “rut” makes the rest of us look bad
It’s only a color rut–for now. It’s been fun to challenge myself to not just throw on jeans and a t-shirt some days. I find myself saying “would I post this on the blog”? Sometimes, the answer is yes and/or who cares, but mostly it makes me utilize the entire contents of my closet!
