We jetting out of the unpredictable Houston winter weather for some sun and fun on the slopes in Telluride.  I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago, but it feels very “ski resort townish” (and the boots were originally purchased as apres ski boots) so I felt it appropriate to post as I pack for our trip. 

I’m a big fan of down vests (aka puffer vests) so I was thrilled when my mom gave me this one for Christmas.  I think the toggles on the front give in extra “rustic” appeal and update a traditional down vest.  The scarf provides a good accent piece to give a little color to an otherwise monochromatic (and neutral) look.
