I love this vest- I love that I got it for a steal deal at the end of last season at Nordstrom Rack.  I almost didn’t buy it because it was the end of the season, but look what I would have been missing!  And the boots, ah the boots, I love the turquoise inlays for an unexpected pop of color.

It was chilly this morning so the addition of the jean jacket underneath the vest was perfect.  (Thanks to J for the idea of a vest OVER a jacket.)  It’s a little warmer now, so losing the jacket is also perfect.  Bam- the art of layering- 1 look, 2 ways.  My work here is done.  Go forth and layer.
